Description
The Master Gift: 16″ Tongue Drum, Stand, Mallet Kit + Master Course and Tongue Drum for Healing
A 16″ drum with a deep center note, a stand, four pairs of mallets, and two complete courses.
The Meinl Sonic Energy 16″ Octave Steel Tongue Drum is tuned to D Amara. It has a bass note in the center and eight notes around it. Each of the eight is built from two tongues that sound in two octaves at once, which gives it a fuller, longer ring, close to a handpan.
The Root Rhythm wooden stand holds the drum at a comfortable height and lets it resonate, seated or standing. The Root Rhythm Mallet Kit adds wool, rubber, and precision mallets in a leather roll-up case. With the Meinl mallets that come with the drum, that’s four pairs and four different tonal posibilities.
The Tongue Drum Master Course starts at the first note and works toward playing freely, without second-guessing each one. Tongue Drum for Healing covers using the drum for meditation and sound healing, including new modules on sound healing and tongue drum in hospice settings.
